Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, delivered 14 drones for the fumigation of crops to producers who are members of the Irrigation District 011, 085 and 087.
This delivery, which benefits 26,282 agricultural producers, is part of the Program for the Strengthening and Modernization of the Irrigated Agricultural Production Units of the SDAYR of Guanajuato, explained the Governor.
“In Guanajuato we are working to have a more modern field, and proof of this is the delivery of these drones, which is also part of the strategy of bringing Mindfacture to every corner and to all the productive sectors of our State,” said the Governor.
He explained that with these drones, processes will be improved and a greater value will be given to the products of the people of Guanajuatense farms.
The drones have the capacity to spray up to 80 hectares per day in an effective working day. That means a very efficient and homogeneous application of fertilizers.
The acquisition of these drones required a joint investment of 6.8 million pesos, of which 4.9 million were contributed by the State Government and 1.96 million were contributed by the beneficiaries, the Governor said.
The use of these drones will also increase operations to make the use of fertilizers or fungicides more efficient. In addition to caring for the environment.
For the operation of this equipment, a pilot and his assistant will be trained for each drone purchased. The training will be for two working groups, serving 7 organizations per group.
