CONALEP of Moroleon obtains first place in intervention event

In the Rally of Nations 2024, the Guanajuato Secretary of Education held an event of electric and single-seater conversion vehicles, in which 10 institutions participated.
This edition’s competition was won by the CONALEP team from Moroleon in the conversion category.
The second place had a tie, which was shared by CECYTE Silao and Conalep of Salvatierra and the third place was for SABES UNIDEG from Apaseo El Grande.
In the single-seater category, the winners were the representatives of the Universidad Iberoamericana Leon and second place went to the Polytechnic University of Juventino Rosas.
The Secretary of Education of Guanajuato received the invitation to participate in the activities of this Rally of Nations, with combustion vehicles converted to 100% electric and single-seater vehicles.
The conversion vehicles participating in this edition of the Rally belong to:
- SABES UNIDEG Plantel Apaseo el Grande
- CECyTE Plantel Silao
- CONALEP Plantel Moroleón and Salvatierra
- Polytechnic University of Guanajuato
The single-seater vehicles belong to:
- Polytechnic University of Juventino Rosas
- Universidad Iberoamericana Leon
- Universidad Politecnica del Bicentenario
- National Polytechnic Institute, Interdisciplinary Professional Engineering Unit, Guanajuato Campus
The activities also had an exhibition of their vehicles, as well as timed races of the conversion vehicles, besides these activities, the education offer of the participating schools is promoted.
Participation in this Rally of Nations aims to enhance the attraction of high school and higher education students to clean and renewable energies and encourage new generations to use them.
