The artista from Guadalajara will present the work ‘Expressions: Tradition, Creativity, Innovation’, with the best world dance talent

“In Guanajuato we have bet on great productions and this great show is going to be historic,” said the Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, during the presentation to the press of the work of the dancer Isaac Hernandez.
With the presentation on stage ‘Expressions: Tradition, Creativity, Innovation’, the dancer from Guadalajara will present his dance and acting in this city, two of the Fine Arts that today place him as one of the best in the world.
“This show has been presented in New York and London, and it is the first time that it has come to Latin America and that it will be presented in Leon is a source of great pride that commits us to be at the level of these international productions,” said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo said that Isaac is a positive reference in society, because there are children who want to be like current athletes or artists, and it is important that everyone has the illusion of being great and with a discipline that leads them to an integral life, and events like this, he said, show references for the new generations that are looking for an ideal.
“We have to be at the level of the best in the country, and with the productions that we can have in Guanajuato, we can have an important cultural offer in Guanajuato,” said the Governor.
Isaac Hernandez said that this work will be the Latin American premiere of ‘The Blake Works II’ -The Barre Project- by choreographer William Forsythe, with a stellar cast of dancers from the New York City Ballet, the San Francisco Ballet and many international artists.
The Blake Works II, contains a careful selection of pieces that make up a program of classical ballet, contemporary dance, tap and urban dance, with fragments from The Blake Works I, Romeo and Juliet and El Corsario, to mention a few works.
For the first time the Dancer will present his performance in Guanajuato and it will be at the Roberto Plasencia Saldana Bicentennial Theater of the Cultural Forum, where on July 1 and 2 he will present a unique experience for the spectator to enjoy a cast considered the ‘jetset’ of dance world.
“My career has been very special, it has given me a lot of satisfaction, I have felt proud to represent my country on major international stages, but for me that does not make sense if I cannot return to the country and share with my audience, but also open the door to the following generations so that they can believe, grow and have continuity in the future”, said the artist.
Art, said Hernandez, is a tool for change; he said he thanks his parents for the training and being able to share his career, since Mexico needs young people to dedicate themselves to something that they are passionate about like art and culture, as valid tools to transform and help Mexico grow.
Isaac Eleazar Hernandez, was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, on April 30, 1990; he is a professional and international ballet dancer and an actor. In 2018 he received the ‘Benois de la Danse’, the greatest award in his discipline given by the Moscow International Dance Association to the best dancer in the world.
Isaac was the principal dancer with the English National Ballet until July 2022 and went to the United States of America as a principal dancer with the San Francisco Ballet. His ballet performance stands out in Mexico and the world.
