Workers and companies of the industriual parks Castro del Rio and Marabis, communities and students are benefited
The new base will provide security service to at least 64,000 irapuatenses

Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo handed over the Public Safety Operations Base and the Castro del Rio Fire Station. The land where this base was built was donated by the industrial park.
“From the State Government we allocate an investment of 21.5 million pesos for the construction of the building”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Municipal Government of Irapuato contributed half a million pesos to provide the necessary furniture and equipment for the operation of this base.
This place as of today has the adequate infrastructure for the provision of security service, as well as a fire station, much needed in places like this.
This base of operations will work as a delegation within the scheme of the security service.
From these facilities, of course, the companies that are located in the Castro del Rio and Marabis industrial parks will be served, but, in addition, they will serve the population that lives in the communities of Ex Hacienda de Marquez, La Calera, Las Penitas, Taretan and Valencianita, among other.
“It will also support educational institutions close to the Knowledge Polygon, such as ITESI, the University of Guanajuato or the Incarnate Word University. They are not only for the approximately 22,000 employees of the 92 companies established here. There will be more than 64,000 Irapuatenses who will have the support of the security and emergency services, from this new base”, said the Governor.
