Prepare for a year’s end at home

Contagion keeps at high levels, and Authorities urge people to increase self protection against Covid 19.

At Gto News we wish to inform about the everyday numbers the State of Guanajuato Secretary of Health reports on the continuing Covid 19 pandemic.

Stay home, contagion keeps high

In the last 24 hours 635 new cases of contagion and 63 deaths caused by Covid 19 were reported by State and Health Authorities. Contagion is still high in Guanajuato and cases are now over the 600, while fatalities went up over the 60s. Authorities have decided to maintain the color of activities in the ORANGE from December 14th to December 20th restricting authorized activities, both leisure and work.

State Health Authorities insist that in Guanajuato it is mandatory to wear a face mask in public spaces indoors or outdoors, as they insist in bringing back down the number of contagion.

We can still avoid going into the RED

Now that the color for activities is in the ORANGE, according to Health Authorities you should watch and obey health prevention measures, and the use of a face mask is mandatory; also, you should maintain a safe distance, wear a face shield and wash your hands. Let’s bring Guanajuato back to the YELLOW.
