As part of the commitment and support to the various business sectors of the State, the Secretary of Social and Human Development -SEDESHU-, Libia Dennise Garcia swore in the new Committee of Directors of the Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors –AMDA- Guanajuato AC, in the twentieth anniversary of its foundation.

On behalf of Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, Libia Dennise was this event that reflects the relevance of the automotive and auto parts sector in Guanajuato, which is why last year it consolidated itself as the most important industrial cluster in Latin America.
“We have achieved all this thanks to teamwork, the union of efforts, the vision we share, as well as the perseverance of actions,” said Libia Dennise in her message.
Once the new committee was installed, the secretary of SEDESHU presented the ‘AMDA Guanajuato 2023 Woman’ recognition to Blanca Estela Padilla Lopez, who currently serves as president of the Kenworth Base External Audit Committee and has a track record of more than 30 years in the automotive distribution sector.
This distinction is dedicated to women who have been working in the industry for more than 10 years and seeks to recognize their commitment and dedication in the development and strengthening of the unit, organization and activity of the union; as well as their commitment and dedication to the growth of the sector they represent.
“I also want to give a very special recognition to those who have been awarded today, because they are truly an example of what makes our State great, men and women not only successful in the work they do, with great courage, but with an enormous social commitment,” said Secretary Libia Dennise.
The National President of AMDA, Guillermo Rosales, recognized AMDA Guanajuato as one of the most important in its system of state associations and expressed his congratulations for celebrating 20 years of its foundation, “it is easy to say, but when we remember the beginnings of this organization in Guanajuato and we compare it with what we have today as a service provider, as representation before government authorities, business organizations, presence in society, it is an effort worthy of recognition.”
The Executive President of the AMDA Guanajuato, Arturo Gonzalez Palomino highlighted that this state association proudly represents more than 90% of the distributors of light, heavy and motorcycle vehicles, “we are the only association with such a level of representation; our sector lives and feels, it is a reflection of a strong and resilient business community. We are and form part of the Greatness of Mexico and Guanajuato is Greatness,” he said.
