In order to strengthen the capacity of reaction of civilans and promote a culture of prevention, the State Coordination of Civil Protection, attached to the Secretary of Security and Peace, calls everyone to participate in the First National Drill 2026, which will be held on May 6 at 11:00 a.m.
The event is aimed at public and private institutions, as well as the general public, so that from their homes, workplaces or education spaces, they can identify evacuation routes, meeting points and basic protocols for action in the event of an emergency.
The exercise will allow for the evaluation of internal organization, response times, and brigade coordination, considering scenarios according to the risks identified in each building.
Interested parties can register their properties on the digital platform enabled for this purpose until May 5 at 23:59 hours, which will allow them to obtain a certificate of participation.
The Secretary of Security and Peace, through the State Coordination of Civil Protection, reaffirms its commitment to reduce risks and calls on the population to actively participate in this exercise as part of building safer environments.
