Opportunities are opened for Guanajuatense suppliers

The Secretary of Economy held a new Industrial Connection with Mercado San Juan, where 54 supplier companies presented their commercial offer to integrate into the supply chain

So far in 2026, 19 business reunions have been held, with the participation of more than 770 MSMEs and sales for over 350 million pesos

The connection between local purchasing and supply companies continues to solidify as a key strategy to strengthen Guanajuato’s domestic market.

In this context, the Secretary of Economy held another Industrial Connection event with Mercado San Juan, where 54 Guanajuatense supplier companies presented their product offer with the potential to integrate into the market’s supply chain.

This strategy is part of the vision of the People’s Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to consolidate economic development that generates more opportunities for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, strengthening local value chains and promoting economic growth to reache more families in Guanajuato.

This event was attended by 54 supplier companies from Guanajuato, representing the municipalities of:

• Leon, San Miguel de Allende, Irapuato, San Francisco del Rincon, Dolores Hidalgo, San Felipe, Valle de Santiago, Tarimoro, Juventino Rosas, Purisima del Rincon, Salamanca, Acambaro, and Romita.

These companies, from sectors including agro-food, beverages, personal care, and wellness, among other, presented their product offer to establish new business relationships with Mercado San Juan.

Conexion Industrial has established itself as one of the most important strategies to boost local supply chains, by bringing Guanajuatense companies closer to purchasing companies that seek to integrate competitive suppliers, strengthening the regional economy and the permanence of SMEs in supply chains.

So far in 2016, the Secretary of Economy has held 19 Industrial Connections events, in which more than 770 Guanajuatense micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) have participated, 488 of which hold the Marca Guanajuato Emblem. These events have generated an estimated sales of over 350 million pesos, establishing themselves as an effective mechanism for promoting business growth.

During this year, purchasing companies such as Liverpool, DENSO, Chedraui, Tejas El Aguila, Alamano, OXXO, Bara, among other, have participated in these networking events, expanding commercial opportunities for local companies and strengthening the integration of Guanajuatense suppliers in increasingly competitive markets.

The Secretary of Economy reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting spaces that strengthen local suppliers, generate new business opportunities, and consolidate MSMEs as one of the main drivers of economic development in Guanajuato.
