The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, presided over the graduation of the men and women who participated in the Public Security and Academic Training Programs of the State Institute of Public Security Training (INFOSPE).

“This ceremony represents much more than the closing of a chapter; it is the beginning of a mission in service for Guanajuato. Today we are celebrating 468 women and men who are joining these State Public Security Forces,” said the Governor of Guanajuato.

This ceremony recognized women and men joining the State Public Security Forces (FSPE), the Penitentiary System, and the Juvenile Reintegration System; as well as graduates of Continuing Education programs, Private Security programs, Open High School programs, Bachelor’s degrees in Public Security, Master’s degrees in Criminalistics, and Master’s degrees in Criminal Policy. Recognition was also given to those completing specialized studies in security and justice.

As part of the People’s Government’s vision for the future, the Governor announced that INFOSPE will strengthen its academic offer with the addition of two new postgraduate programs: the Master’s in National Security and the Doctorate in Governance and Public Safety, designed to prepare security commanders and specialists with an updated approach.

“I am very pleased to announce that INFOSPE will strengthen its academic offer with two new postgraduate programs: the Master’s in National Security and the Doctorate in Governance and Public Safety,” said Governor Libia Dennise.

Both programs are currently undergoing the validation and incorporation process with the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato this year. The intention is to launch the Master’s program and open applications for both programs for the 2027 academic year.
As part of the CONFIA strategy, INFOSPE strengthens the capabilities of the 10 security regions of Guanajuato, the State Highway Police, and specialized areas such as operational intelligence, attention to gender violence, search for people, and protection of journalists and human rights defenders.

Participating in this event were Security Authorities of Guanajuato, of municipalities; the military and members of the Judiciary and Legislative Powers.
