“The People’s Government is strengthening legal certainty and the assets of hundreds of Guanajuatense families”, said the Secretary of Government, Jorge Daniel Jimenez Lona, representing Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo.

Jimenez Lona led the distribution of housing assistance and property deeds, with the Secretary of the New Beginning, Rosario Corona Amador, and Mayor of Irapuato, Lorena Alfaro Garcia.

The Secretary noted that these results are possible thanks to the coordinated work between the State Government, the municipalities, the Secretariat of the New Beginning, the Municipal Housing Institute of Irapuato and the agencies responsible for the regularization of land tenure.

During the event held in Irapuato, 254 Public Deeds of Property were delivered through the State Program for the Regularization of Human Settlements “Papelito Habla” (Paper Speaks), benefiting 889 people. Additionally, the Declaration of Regularization of the “Las Huertas” human settlement was formalized, which will allow 1,246 families to access their deed registration process and consolidate the legal certainty of their assets.

Jimenez also highlighted the importance of regularizing the “Las Huertas” property, approximately 20 hectares in size, as it will allow authorities to invest public resources to bring services closer and improve the quality of life for families living in the area.

The Secretary of the New Beginning, Rosario Corona Amador, delivered 45 grants from the “My New Home” program worth more than 4 million pesos, reiterating that during this year 228 grants have been delivered to families in the municipalities of Irapuato, León, San Miguel de Allende and Villagrán with a total investment of more than 19 million pesos.
“Today, your dream of building your own home has come true. We work every day to be a government that is close to you, honest, and responsive, so we can improve your quality of life,” said Corona Amador.
Mayor Lorena Alfaro García thanked Governor Libia Dennise for all the support she has provided to the municipality.
