Temporary exhibition “A Journey Through Guanajuato’s Pueblos Magicos” is inaugurated at the National Museum of Pueblos Magicos in Calvillo, Aguascalientes

The Mayor of Calvillo, Aguascalientes, Daniel Romo Urrutia, welcomed the State of Guanajuato and expressed his gratitude for being part of this venue that enhances the identity, culture, and legacy of Mexico’s Magic Towns.
Veronica Ballin de Luna, Calvillo’s Secretary of Tourism, emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen ties between destinations that share the ‘Pueblo Mágico’ Emblem, thereby boosting the tourist, cultural, and economic promotion of each region.
Adriana Lorena Jasso Medina, Director of Project Development for the Secretary of Tourism and Identity of the State of Guanajuato, stated that this exhibition will allow visitors to learn about and admire the greatness of her State, full of history, traditions, architecture, and hospitality, which distinguish it as a national tourism benchmark.
The exhibition will remain open from October 24, 2025, to February 15, 2026, offering visitors a journey through the essence of the Pueblos Magicos: Jalpa de Canovas, Mineral de Pozos, Salvatierra, Comonfort, Dolores Hidalgo, Yuriria, and San Francisco del Rincon, the latter being a Sister City of Calvillo.
Purisima del Rincon contributed elements that identify both the Pueblo Magico of Jalpa de Canovas and Purisima del Rincon, featuring the renowned ‘Judea’ Masks.
Roberto Camargo, Director of Tourism, attended on behalf of Mayor Roberto Garcia Urbano, noting that the presence of Purisima del Rincon and the Magic Town of Jalpa de Canovas reinforces their national presence for their destinations in new promotional hubs.
