Guanajuato is the first destination in Mexico to delight diners at the “Wine Bar by CMB” –showcase of the “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles” brand– at the premiere of the culinary experience “Month of Gastronomy”, presented by Audi Mexico.
During August, this gastronomic concept – in the heart of CDMX- included in the culinary intervention of Daniel Nates, associate chef of the Wine Bar by CMB, seven recipes from traditional cooks and one chef from Guanajuato.
In alliance with the Guanajuato Tourism Secretary, the traditional cooks and the chef exhibit the culinary art that distinguishes the entity using aromas, textures, colors and flavors in Guanajuatense dishes full of history, symbols and mysticism.
“We appreciate the space that is opened to our traditional cooks who preserve the heritage and who today highlight the gastronomic identity of Guanajuato. Thank you for coming to know and learn about our culinary past, since that makes us value our gastronomic traditions even more”, said Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism.
In the menu, traditional cooks use ancestral techniques and create art in the delicious dishes.
To pair the gastronomic proposal, the Wine Bar by CMB offers a selection of national and international wines that won at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, in addition to the usual beers, sake and spirits awarded with medals in its different global sessions.
“After a successful Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Guanajuato, Mexico 2024, we are happy to announce this initiative promoted by the German premium car brand in Mexico and the Wine Bar by CMB, which will allow the dissemination of ingredients, ancient techniques, knowledge and flavors of Guanajuato,” says Carlos Borboa, director for Latin America and North America of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and director of the Wine Bar by CMB.
Food and wine is a rich cultural heritage that the State of Guanajuato is proud to share.
