In an effort to strengthen female entrepreneurship, the Innovation Institute presented the program “Women Thrive with CercanIA: Technology, Cybersecurity and Digital Businesses”.

This People’s Government initiative arises as an evolution of previous technological empowerment programs with which the Innovation Institute has managed to impact more than 1,500 women in the State.

This new phase aims to provide the necessary tools for Guanajuatense women to achieve economic independence and foster entrepreneurship through the use of cutting-edge technologies.

During the launch, Juan Antonio Reus Montano, Director General of the Innovation Institute, noted that the permanent participation of women is key to generating complete and balanced solutions in society.

“We have discovered that women’s consistency, discipline, and ongoing commitment to participation have allowed them to set the agenda and occupy spaces. What we want is for us not to forget that in 20 years no one will remember the challenges we face today, but we will remember the glory of the solutions we built together,” acknowledged Reus Montano.

“We deeply recognize the work being done in Guanajuato; it is a State that not only talks about innovation, but also implements it with a human-centered approach. For SIA, it is a privilege to collaborate with the Innovation Institute on this program, because they have managed to create an ecosystem where cybersecurity and artificial intelligence are put to the service of women. Guanajuato is setting the standard nationally by understanding that current economic empowerment necessarily involves the secure mastery of technology,” said Kenia Caballero, Director of SIA Mexico.

The program aims to integrate technology into daily business operations thanks to collaborations with international partners.

Participants will have access to:

  • Google Certifications: In areas such as Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, data analysis and project management
  • Strategic Use of AI: Practical training from generating basic instructions (prompts) to creating artificial intelligence agents
  • Cybersecurity and Business: Knowledge to protect the digital identity and physical security of businesses in the virtual environment
  • Technology for Independence: “Women Thrive with CercanIA” is aimed at women entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals who wish to lead the digital economy. The program seeks to increase the competitiveness of women-led businesses and create new economic opportunities in the region

The program has the support of allies such as 10,000 Women for Mexico, AMEXME, AMMJE and Women Making History.

The Innovation Institute reaffirms its commitment to positioning Guanajuato as a benchmark in technological inclusion, ensuring that knowledge translates into greater autonomy for guanajuatense women.
