Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, presented recognition to the young winners of the “Youth with Greatness State Award 2023”.
“You are the ones who have the strength, the initiative and the energy to change the world. Thanks to your genius, your ability and your talent. Today we come to deliver the 2023 Youth with Greatness State Award”, said the Governor to the youth present at the award ceremony.
The objective of the Award is to recognize young people who have stood out with their conduct or dedication and are an example of human development, professional growth or good practices in the social field.
“This award is truly unique in the country, because young people are not valued everywhere. In Guanajuato we do, because we are very proud of all of you”, said the Governor.
This award, which stands out for being the only one of its kind at the national level, reaffirms the commitment of Guanajuato to support and nurture the growth, development and well-being of its talented young population.
For its 2023 edition, the award had six categories:
- Academy and research
- Social commitment
- Artistic expression
- Entrepreneurial genius
- Innovation and Technology
- Protection of the environment
- Honorable mention for Impact actions for peace and inclusion
In the Academy and research category, the winners are Marysol Garcia Perez and Luis Alberto Segura Quezada
In the Social Commitment category, the winners are Brando Oleynick Hernandez and Sandro Alejandro Miranda Razo
Gerson Uziel Ayala Montanez and Aslinn Irenia Salcido Marquez won the Artistic Expressions category
The award in the Entrepreneurial Genius category went to Barush Caliel Copado Luna and Cesar Perez Alvarez
In Innovation and Technology, the winners are Paulina Pantoja Gavidia and Gresia Lisset Cervantes Navarro
In the Environmental Protection category, the winners are Maria del Rocio Quezada Garcia and Dulce Gabriela Martinez Prieto
An honorable mention was given for impact actions for peace and inclusion, to Martha Sarahi Alferez Mendoza
The winners will receive financial support of up to 70,000 pesos as a prize.
“In Guanajuato we are living a historic moment, a historic investment that has never been made for our youth. Today our Institute is the means and the tool that the Governor decided to care for this sector, the one with the largest budget to care for the youth of the State. That is why today we celebrate all these talents, because we are convinced of your impetus and courage to build a better Guanajuato”, said Antonio de Jesus Navarro Padilla, General Director of JuventudES Gto.
The award-winning young Guanajuatenses gave recognition to the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, for his commitment to the development of young Guanajuatenses.
