Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, inaugurated the MONEX Bank Office, in the G100 complex of the Guanajuato Puerto Interior, in Silao.
The Governor noted that the arrival of companies and financial institutions is a reflection of the conditions that Guanajuato offers, such as economic prosperity and the rule of law.
“That MONEX is here is a clear sign of the importance of the financial market of Guanajuato and the region, due to the trust and certainty it generates,” said the Governor.
Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo mentioned that for the second consecutive year Guanajuato ranks second nationally in the Rule of Law Index in Mexico 2023-2024 -IEDMX-.
This is the sixth edition of this report produced by the World Justice Project -WJP- to measure, from a citizen perspective, the degree of adherence to the Rule of Law in the 32 States of Mexico.
The IEDMX takes up the same conceptual and methodological framework that the WJP has applied for more than a decade in the Rule of Law Index at a global level, and has adapted it to reflect Mexico’s reality.
The states with the highest scores in the IEDMX 2023-2024 are Queretaro, Guanajuato and Aguascalientes.
Also important is the attraction of companies that come to Guanajuato due to the nearshoring effect, therefore, the Governor mentioned that he will seek to close his administration with 10 billion dollars of foreign investment.
“The only way to end poverty in the country is through the generation of wealth and with formal jobs, everything else is a palliative, placebos; they help but they are not the solution. Employment, work and the culture of effort is what makes Mexico great, as Guanajuato is doing”, told the Governor to the directors of the institution.
Banco MONEX, now in the Interior Port, reflects the strength and greatness of Guanajuato’s economy.
This 100 percent Mexican financial institution is a leading bank in the currency exchange and international payments market; with a career of more than 38 years in the financial sector.
