First 100 days of the Government of the People

The work has just begun: Libia. In Guanajuato, ‘Social Support’ is now mandatory by law, announces the Governor as her Administration completes the first 100 days of Government

“In the Government of the People, social support is now a right guaranteed by law for the people of Guanajuato”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, upon completing the first 100 days of work, with commitment and courageous decisions for the Guanajuatenses.

“We complete one hundred days of government. Making brave decisions is not easy, but changes begin to bear fruit when we follow the right path. For example, in Guanajuato we have social programs that are required by law,” said the Governor of the People.

The Governor added that the commitment to Guanajuato is the continuous work with programs and actions that aim to resolve the needs and guarantee the safety of the population, in a joint effort between society and government.

It lists objectives, achievements, actions and programs have been implemented in the first 100 days of the Government of Libia Dennise.

The formation of a “Parity Cabinet”, with equal number of women and men, at the head of the Government; working to guarantee “Water for the Future”, and for the first time there is a Water Secretary.

We offer “Economic Support” to start or grow a business; “Cuartos Rosas” supports the construction of additional rooms at home; “Somos ALIADAS” was created, a universal support program for women; “Apoyos Garantizados” are social programs that are already mandatory by law.

In the Government of Guanajuato, “We Protect Your Voice” with the Unit for the Protection of Journalists and Human Rights Defenders.

We have an “Investigative Police” to carry out effective arrests and searches; for the “Anti-Crime Strategy”, the Criminal Investigation Intelligence Center was created; it is complemented by “Police Intelligence” with advanced technology to combat crimes.

With the “Anti-Extortion Squad”, we fight and dismantle criminal groups; while to join the “Search for Persons”, we created the special Unit to support search groups.

With the “Women’s Police” we created the Police Station for attention to gender violence; in addition, with the strengthening of the State Highway Police, we seek to have “Safe Roads”.

To achieve this, we created the “10 out of 10 Strategy,” and with the regionalization of the State territory, we pay special attention to security in every corner of Guanajuato.

“We are committed to continue working for all the families of Guanajuato; this is just beginning and we are moving forward,” said the Governor of the People.
