The AMDM presented the 5th Edition of EXPOMAQ, the most important international exhibit of machinery in Latin America
Starting in 2022 the expo will be celebrated in Poliforum Leon for 5 years in a row as agreed by the the parts

Leon will host the next 5 editions of the International Exhibit of Machinery, Tools and Technology for Manufacturing –EXPOMAQ-.
Signing ceremony
The agreement was signed by the Government of Guanajuato, the Municipality of Leon, the Mexican Association of Distributors of Machinery AC and Poliforum Conexpo SA de CV.
Expo of expos
“We come stronger than ever, we signed this agreement that make us dream for the next ten years, this signing ceremony is more important because it is a great alliance; it is the ‘expo of expos’ and we are interested that it is in Guanajuato, an engine of the national economy”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
Guanajuato, said the Governor, is in a very important moment, because the State bets on innovation, on science and technology to go to the superior level of development, where Guanajuato is working to be the Epicenter of Industry 4.0 and go from manufacture to mindfacture.

“Our local entrepreneurs have the opportunity to witness novel technology; it helps us that our companies can acquire the best and most revolutionary technology. The industry wins, the city wins, and EXPOMAQ wins. We all win”, said the Governor.
EXPOMAQ is the most important specialized exposition of machines and tools for manufacturing in Mexico, it covers automotive, aerospace, metalmechanics, oil-gas, home appliances, energy generation, medical equipment, among other.
A story of cooperation
In 2016 and 2018 this Expo was presented in Leon, and they had more than one thousand international brands and more than 10 thousand visitors.
Fernando Diaz Marín, Director of Expositions at AMDM, said that the 5th Edition of the EXPOMAQ will be on June 22nd to 24th in 2022, and they expect more than 12 thousand visitors.
Multi-National
There will be 40 technical conferences, more than 250 exhibitors with more than 1,500 brands from Germany, Brazil, China, South Korea, Spain, the United States, England, Italy, India, Japan, Taiwan and Mexico; more than 250 machines in exhibition and operation, all in more than 18 thousand square meters.
“We have grown 15 to 20% in each edition. It is a very real number that goes with the industrial development of El Bajio, not to mention the great effort of attraction to the event of AMDM when promoting each event. No question El Bajio is becoming the great manufacturing epicenter in Latin America”, said Diaz Marin.
