Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, starts the Service Caravan of the Guanajuato Contigo Sí Strategy in this municipality.
Quality of life
“The new social strategy Guanajuato Contigo Si, is real. With this Caravan we are going to improve the quality of life of Guanajuato families”, said the Governor.
More than 16 state agencies are joining forces through 83 programs. “So that it is comprehensive care for people, their families and their communities,” said the Governor.
Millions befitted
Rodríguez Vallejo highlighted that through Guanajuato Contigo Si, more than 1,500,000 works and actions will be fulfilled.
This means that 2,704 million pesos will be invested to benefit 2.6 million people, said the Governor, who was with Mayor of Ocampo, Erick Silvano Montemayor Lara.
Rodriguez Vallejo explained that the program has 6 main goals:
- Raise the education level of Guanajuatenses
- Quality medical care for all
- Quality spaces for family development
- Strengthen the income of the population
- Improve social and basic infrastructure in communities
- Promote an organized and participatory society to achieve a peaceful and healthy environment
Work teams from different state agencies have been working providing services and granting support in this Caravan:
- Personnel from the State Secretary of Education, offered flexible modalities to study, such as Online High School and the Virtual University. Also INAEBA, with its adult literacy and education services.
- JuventudEsGto brought scholarships to support young people who want to continue their education.
- The Health Secretary participated with vaccines, glucose tests, nutrition and a disease prevention module
- INGUDIS offered free eye exams
- The State DIF that delivered 25 diagnoses for dental prostheses for older adults.
- The migrant community is offered information and legal advice, as well as the promotion of the Silver Miners program.
- Through the Government Secretary, 200 birth certificates were delivered today
- The Security Secretary offered information on crime prevention and promotion of the culture of reporting.
Work and actions
This Caravan and the new social strategy Guanajuato Contigo Si, is led by the Secretary of Social Development, said the Governor who highlighted the coordinated work with the Mayor, Erick Silvano Montemayor Lara, to continue promoting more works and actions for the benefit of the inhabitants of Ocampo.
Different programs
The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, handed support to farmers, besides the support from the programs for the Promotion of Agricultural Insurance, TecnoCampo and dams with the Catastrophic Agricultural Insurance (SAC).
