The works of the Celebrations Commission for the 200 Years of Guanajuato as a Free and Sovereign Federative State concluded. In total, 1,220 commemorative actions were carried out during one year.
On behalf of the State Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, the Secretary of Government, Jesus Oviedo Herrera, led the Closing of the work of the said commission, which was installed a year ago.
“We recognize the effort and work carried out by this Commission. Thanks also to the other public and private institutions that joined these celebrations. We are leaving a historical legacy for present and future generations”, said Oviedo Herrera.
Oviedo said that the history and meaning of the Seal, the Flag and the Anthem should also be promoted; State symbols that represent the pride and identity of the Guanajuatenses and that honor the history, traditions and values, which Make our State great.
“Guanajuato has always been a main actor in the history, present and future of Mexico. At Independence and the birth of the federal Pact; in the defense of the Republic and in the fight for democracy,” said Oviedo.
The Official noted that Guanajuato is a state of people who inspire the Nation. A heroic State that does not give up. “We are a State proud of its roots and its vision for the future. Guanajuato is a land of freedom and justice,” said the Secretary of Government.
In this ceremony that took place at the Alhondiga de Granaditas Museum, the President of the State Congress, the local Representative Bricio Balderas and the President of the Judiciary Power, Hector Tinajero Munoz, participated, as did State and municipal Officials, deputies and citizens.
As part of the celebration of the 200 years of the creation of the Supreme Court of Justice of the State, the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, said that the Judiciary Power of Guanajuato has consolidated important leadership and is a reference in the implementation of new paths to make justice effective.
“In Guanajuato, the Judiciary is respected and loved as part of the institutional life of the State; They have played a fundamental role in these two centuries of Guanajuato’s life as a free and sovereign State,” said the Governor.
In Guanajuato, said the Governor, operates an exemplary institution, where the effort, responsibility and commitment over time have managed to earn the trust of the citizens by acting impartially and being committed to justice and legality.
