“In the People’s Government we say that when we work as a team, we are unstoppable and Irapuato is a great example that this becomes a reality when we work with heart, with honesty and with results,” said Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munos Ledo while witnessing the Mayor of Irapuato, Lorena Alfaro García, in her Second Government Report.

The State Government supports the Municipal Government of Irapuato with works and actions for its people, therefore, from September 2024 until June 30 of this year, it has invested more than 2 billion 463 million pesos in Irapuato.

Among the investments of the People’s Government in Irapuato are works such as the Citizen Security Complex 1st stage, and the Environmental Education Center, said the Governor.

Libia Dennise announced that the Manos a la Obra program will bring new projects to Irapuato, such as the rehabilitation and reconfiguration of the Wastewater Treatment Plant on the road to Pueblo Nuevo; the construction of the vehicular bridge over the railway line on Calzada de Guadalupe; among other paving and road rehabilitation works.

“All of these are projects that directly benefit the people and represent a better quality of life. Irapuato deserves it!” said Libia Dennise.

The Governor also spoke about the Aliadas strategy, which integrates 27 programs in health, education, employment, training and other fundamental areas; and about the Tarjeta Rosa (Pink Card), which in Irapuato, has delivered more than 165,000 cards with an investment of 1 billion 025 million pesos.

“Know that you are not alone, you have your Governor and you have the People’s Government,” said Libia Dennise.
The Governor sent a clear message to the families of Irapuato and reaffirmed her support for Lorena Alfaro Garcia.

“I must acknowledge Lorena Alfaro as a woman who has known how to build, manage, engage in dialogue, and find what is truly important for her city. And in that effort, Lorena, I want to tell you that you can count on me as Governor, that we will continue to move forward together, and we will continue to demonstrate what women’s leadership can do when we agree and when we join forces,” said Libia.
