With the distinctive trademark of “The Best Fair in the Region,” Roberto Garcia Urbano, Mayor of Purisima del Rincon, officially unveiled the main lineup and general program for the October Fair 2026, being held from October 8 to 23. It will be 16 days dedicated to music, culture, tradition, and family entertainment.
During the press conference, the Mayor was with Rodrigo Gonzalez, representative of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo; Julio Jimenez, President of the Fair Committee; representatives of the Parroquia de la Purisima Concepcion; members of the Purisima del Rincon City Council; and other members of the Fair Committee who revealed the religious schedule honoring the Señor de la Columna.
The October Fair 2026 is designed to ensure access and enjoyment for visitors of all ages. As a special highlight to support family finances, Garcia Urbano confirmed a 2-for-1 deal on carnival rides every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Rodrigo Gonzalez confirmed high expectations for tourist turnout and economic impact for the municipality, projecting a significant arrival of visitors from across the State and neighboring regions. Gonzalez detailed that downtown will host the Cultural Pavilion, joining a packed calendar of sports tournaments across multiple disciplines.
A core focus of this edition is supporting local Purisima talent, as several homegrown bands and artists will actively take the stage as opening acts for the star-studded main lineup.
Ticket sales started at the Municipal Tourism offices on Thursday, September 24 at 12:00 PM.
