In the fourth stage of the La Noria–Las Palomas road more than 48.8 million pesos are being invested with a benefit for more than 11,000 inhabitants

With an investment of 48 million 865 thousand 940 pesos, the Secretary of Public Works (SOP) is advancing in the construction of the fourth stage of the La Noria–Las Palomas road, a strategic project that will strengthen connectivity and improve mobility conditions for families in the northeast area of Guanajuato.
The project is 39.7% complete and includes the construction of a type D road with a 6-meter-wide crown and cobblestone pavement with concrete tracks. It also includes earthworks, a hydraulic base, drainage works, stone masonry retaining walls, and slope stabilization through the construction of cyclopean concrete walls, as well as horizontal and vertical signage.
As part of this project, a four-span bridge is also being built, with a cyclopean concrete foundation, masonry substructure, and a superstructure based on a lightweight hydraulic concrete slab, an infrastructure that will provide greater safety and functionality to vehicular traffic.
The head of the agency, Juan Pablo Perez Beltran, noted that, with the completion of this stage, the connection between the communities of La Noria and Las Palomas will be fully paved, which will improve the mobility and safety of 11,143 inhabitants, as well as facilitate access to services, productive activities and greater development opportunities for the region.
With these actions, the People’s Government reaffirms its commitment to promote infrastructure that strengthens connectivity, brings communities closer together, and consolidates Guanajuato as one of the best-connected states in Mexico.
