More than 470 Marca Gto companies participate in the People’s Pavilion of the Vive Leon Summer Festival 2026

The talent, creativity and effort of Guanajuato’s micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are the protagonists of the Vive Leon 2026 Summer Festival, where 476 companies with the Marca Gto Emblem participate in the People’s Pavilion, one of the most important commercial spaces of the festival.

Representing the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, inaugurated the fifth edition of the Vive Leon 2026 Summer Festival, with the theme “Fun out of this world”, where she noted that economic growth makes sense when it generates opportunities for Guanajuatense families and strengthens those who undertake, produce and innovate every day.

The People’s Pavilion is establishing itself as a strategic showcase for bringing Guanajuato’s products to thousands of visitors.

From July 17 to August 2, companies from 24 municipalities will exhibit products from the sectors:

  • Agro-food, artisan, textile, leather and footwear, and emerging industries sectors

The exhibitors will be in spaces located in:

  • Halls B100, the Parteluces area, the Poliforum Causeway, and the Guanajuato Esplanade at the Leon MX District

“The festival not only opens its doors as one of the most important family events in Leon and Guanajuato, but it also opens its doors to the talent, effort and dreams of hundreds of Guanajuatense companies that build development and prosperity every day from all regions of the State,” said the Secretary of Economy.

Cristina Villasenor insisted that strengthening MSMEs is a priority for the People’s Government, as they represent 99.8% of the more than 270,000 economic units existing in Guanajuato and generate more than 70% of the employment in the State.

Villasenor noted that currently more than 9,300 companies proudly display the Marca Gto Emblem, a strategy that strengthens the competitiveness of local businesses and aims to close 2026 with 10,000 certified businesses.

This effort is complemented by strategies such as Industrial Connection, which links MSMEs with large companies located in the State to integrate them into value chains and expand their business opportunities.

In addition to the exhibition and sale of products, the People’s Pavilion will feature specialized spaces for the marketing of wines, cheeses and regional products, a collective sales point for producers who were unable to set up an individual stand, as well as two fashion runways to promote the talent of the textile and clothing industry of Guanajuato.
