Representing Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, Secretary of Government, Jorge Daniel Jimenez Lona, participated in the Citizens’ Security and Justice Roundtable of Leon, chaired by Francisco Gutierrez Manríque.
The Secretary of Government announced that, starting June 16, the new mixed courts specializing in violence against women will begin operating in four municipalities, including Leon. These courts will provide comprehensive care to victims of domestic violence through multidisciplinary teams comprised of judges, experts, and psychologists.
The meeting was attended by the State Attorney General, Gerardo Vazquez Alatriste; Mayor of Leon; the Archbishop of Leon, Jaime Calderon Calderon; State authorities and representatives of organized civil society.
