The “Super League of Health” participated in this celebration which included activities and games that promote healthy habits

“Enjoy this stage of your life to the fullest. From Guanajuato, we will continue working so that you can fulfill all your dreams, grow up healthy and happy, and achieve everything you set out to do,” said Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo to the children during the Children’s Day celebration.
The State Governor was with her husband, Juan Carlos Montesinos Carranza, President of the Advisory Council of the State DIF System. Together they toured the stands where more than 2,000 elementary school children participated in activities and games that taught them healthy habits.
This celebration, held at the Inforum in Irapuato, featured the characters of the “Super League of Health,” a strategy launched by the Guanajuato State DIF as an innovative initiative that uses animated content and activities relevant to children.
The characters in this league are:
- Doctor Ponte Sano, the team leader who activates health alerts when he detects risks such as lack of physical activity, emotional crises, and poor diet
- Nutrinova, who protects nutrition, detects unhealthy products, and transforms them into nutritious options
- Mente Serena, in charge of caring for emotional well-being, helping children manage emotions
- Ritmo Relampago, who promotes movement by encouraging physical activity
- They are joined by “Luis” and “Anita”, who represent the girls and boys who, with information and support, can face any challenge
At this event, the recipe book “Super Lunches” was also presented, it is made from recipes created by children and families from Guanajuato, which promotes a balanced, varied and appropriate diet for child development.
From the moment they arrived, the attendees became the stars, receiving capes and masks that identified them as part of the “Super League of Health,” with superpowers to promote healthy habits in a fun way and combat health problems such as childhood obesity.
This event involved all departments of the People’s Government, with activities designed for girls and boys from 1st to 6th grade, including the participation of around 500 children from orphanages.
In Guanajuato, the People’s Government is committed to recognizing children’s rights, well-being, and comprehensive development as a priority.
