This new route from Guanajuato to Canada begins on October 3, announced Libia Dennise

The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, announced that starting October 3, the direct flight from Bajio to Vancouver, Canada, will begin through Flair Airlines.
“This achievement is the result of teamwork with the Pacific Airport Group, so that we can continue strengthening Guanajuato’s connectivity,” said Libia Dennise.
The Governor highlighted that Canada is one of the most important international markets for Guanajuato and is the second country that travels the most to Mexico, with more than 2.8 million visitors a year.
“This new connection represents a great opportunity for more international visitors to learn about our culture, our gastronomy, live authentic experiences and also get to know our wonderful identity,” he added.
“Guanajuato is opening new paths to be present in every corner of the world. What do you say? Let’s go to Canada” Libia Dennise said.
The opening of this new flight is the result of the coordinated work of the People’s Government, through the Secretary of Tourism and Identity, with the Pacific Airport Group (GAP) and Flair Airlines.
“This new route represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen our second largest international market and continue positioning Guanajuato in the world, without losing sight of the ongoing promotion of our destinations that are the driving force behind tourism and the identity of the State,” said Maria Guadalupe Robles Leon, Secretary of Tourism and Identity.
Tickets for this new route will be available starting April 22nd.
The Bajio International Airport continues to consolidate itself as a strategic point for the air connectivity of Mexico, with more than 3.3 million passengers annually and national and international routes that strengthen tourism and business.
“We trust that this new connection will be a success and will contribute to both tourism and business travel. We warmly welcome Flair Airlines and reiterate to Vancouver visitors that we are ready to receive them with the quality and warmth of service that distinguishes us,” commented Paola Olivo Moreno, Director of the Guanajuato International Airport.
