The Industrial Connection strategy continues to consolidate itself as an engine of growth for small and medium-sized enterprises in Guanajuato, by generating spaces for effective linkage that promote their integration into value chains and expand their business opportunities.
This action is part of the vision of the People’s Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, aimed at boosting economic development, promoting the visibility of MSMEs, strengthening state suppliers and creating new business opportunities for Guanajuatense companies.
So far in 2026, the Secretary of Economy has promoted the participation of 347 companies through these events, 224 of which hold the Guanajuato Brand distinction. Of these, 20% are led by women, reflecting an inclusive, competitive business ecosystem with high growth potential.
During this same period, the strategy has generated estimated sales exceeding 209 million 940 thousand pesos, as a result of direct contact with leading companies, convenience stores and anchor companies interested in integrating new suppliers into their supply chains.
The participating companies come from different municipalities in Guanajuato and belong to various productive sectors, including food, manufacturing, services and industrial supply, many of them with certifications that support the quality of their products and services, strengthening their position in increasingly demanding markets.
The head of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, highlighted that these actions seek to ensure that every opportunity for collaboration translates into growth for companies, promoting the generation of quality jobs and the diversification of economic sectors in Guanajuato.
With these actions, the People’s Government reaffirms its commitment to continue building a competitive Guanajuato, with a dynamic, inclusive economy based on talent, innovation and the strength of its small and medium-sized companies.
