In order to provide financial alternatives to renew the vehicle fleet and strengthen the economy of families dedicated to public transportation, the Financiera y Apoyos “Tu Puedes Guanajuato” held an information reunión with leaders and members of the Union de Concesionarios 11 de Noviembre.
Ivon Padilla Hernandez, head of the agency, said that, in this reunion with the sector, transporters gathered and learned about the new operating rules and the financing amounts available for 2026.
“Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo has clearly instructed us that we cannot allow anyone in Guanajuato to be left behind due to a lack of opportunities; she envisioned creating an inclusive financial institution with a social focus where everyone can benefit, eliminating the barriers that previously prevented transporters from accessing fair credit,” said Ivon.
“As a government that listens to the citizens, we offer amounts of up to 350,000 pesos for gasoline-powered vehicles and up to 500,000 pesos for hybrid or electric vehicles, with a fixed annual interest rate of 12%, significantly lower than that of commercial Banks,” said Padilla.
The head of the state finance agency emphasized the commitment of Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo’s administration to social inclusion and direct support for taxi drivers.
Juan Iturriaga Marquez, leader of the November 11 Union, said that this support represents a “breather” in the face of the high costs of supplies and the urgent need to modernize their units to offer a better service and combat unfair competition.
“This is a very good option brought to us by Governor Libia Dennise, and we are very grateful for her taking us into account and paying attention to us. She has also recognized the needs of the taxi drivers’ union, and this gives us the opportunity to provide better service to all users so they can see that we are no longer just traditional taxis,” said the leader of the taxi drivers.
This meeting was attended by leaders and members of these unions from the municipalities of: Salamanca, Moroleon, Uriangato, Valle de Santiago, Yuriria, San Diego de la Union, Dolores Hidalgo, Silao, Guanajuato, San Jose Iturbide and San Felipe.
The State Government works not only to improve mobility, but also to ensure that concession holders in the most remote municipalities have access to the same growth tools as in the large cities in the industrial corridor.
