This delivery strengthens the operation capacity of 14 municipalities with 22 units acquired through the Public Security Contributions Fund (FASP)

The People’s Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, delivered patrol vehicles to 14 municipalities in Guanajuato, to strengthen public security and advance in the construction of peace for Guanajuatense families.
“Today we are placing these patrol vehicles in your hands, but what we are really delivering is the capacity to provide better care. We do this with the absolute conviction that, to protect families, we must first strengthen those who protect us,” said the State Governor.
The strengthened municipalities are:
- Abasolo (2 patrols)
- Acambaro (2)
- Apaseo el Alto (2)
- Apaseo el Grande (2)
- Coroneo (1)
- Guanajuato (1)
- Irapuato (1)
- Pueblo Nuevo (2)
- Salamanca (2)
- San Jose de Iturbide (2)
- San Felipe (1)
- Victoria (1)
- San Miguel de Allende (1)
- Yuriria (2)
The delivered vehicles:
- They are 22 Ford F-150 units
- Double cab 4×2
- Model 2025
- Acquired with resources from the Fund for Contributions to Public Security (FASP)
- With a cost per unit of 1 million 420 thousand pesos
- A total investment of 31 million 240 thousand pesos
- Corresponding to the fiscal year 2025
Each patrol vehicle delivered strengthens coordination between the State and the Municipalities, improves response time, expands preventive surveillance, and provides greater peace of mind to the people.
This delivery is complemented by the strengthening of the State Public Security Forces (FSPE), announced on December 8, when 162 new units were incorporated to increase the attention and response capability of the State Forces.
The delivery of patrol vehicles adds to the comprehensive strengthening that has been carried out in Guanajuato in matters of security through the CONFIA Strategy.
