With the goal of strengthening the academic training of students, Mazda Logistics donated 40,000 pesos worth of laboratory supplies to Technical Secondary School No. 38, in Salamanca.

The project was born thanks to the initiative of collaborator Ana Maving, who proposed supporting the institution where her son studied. Her proposal was selected within the company’s social projects program, making the donation possible.

In coordination with the SEG Volunteer Program, this effort promoted, consolidating the delivery of materials that will allow the reactivation of the science lab, a space that had been unused due to a lack of supplies.

On behalf of the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato, Luis Ignacio Sanchez Gomez, the general coordinator of the SEG Volunteer Program, Luis Alberto Gonzalez Bernabe, expressed his gratitude to Mazda Logistics: “This donation reflects the company’s social vocation and its commitment to education. Mazda is a partner of the SEG in building an exceptional future for our children and adolescents.”

Fujisawa Hideyuki, president of Mazda Logistics, emphasized that the donation seeks to awaken the students’ scientific curiosity: “We want to support your learning because you are the future. The curiosity that emerges through experiments and the ability to work as a team are strengths that will shape your lives. Like Mazda, you can continue to question how to do things better and better.”

As a token of gratitude, the education community —administrators, teachers, students, and parents— presented a cultural festival in honor of the automobile company and its representatives.

The delegate for Education Region IV, Juan Luis Saldana Lopez, emphasized that this support strengthens international cooperation ties, recalling the twinning relationship between Guanajuato and the city of Hiroshima, Mazda’s birthplace.

Saldana noted that Technical Secondary School No. 38 stands out in the areas of education robotics, art, and scientific projects with social impact, such as the processing of seawater for purification and agricultural use.

The ceremony was attended by Mazda Logistics executives and education authorities.
