Holding major events consolidate León as a leading tourist destination with events like the Summer Festival.

The Vive Leon 2025 Summer Festival closed with historic results that confirm that major events continue to be a driving force for tourism in Guanajuato.
During the 16 days of activities, six more than the previous edition, the festival welcomed more than 970,000 attendees, representing a 72% increase compared to 2024.
This growth was reflected in an economic impact of 557 million pesos, strengthening the tourism and commercial dynamism of one of the most important destinations in Guanajuato: Leon.
The event, organized by the Leon Fair Board in coordination with State and Municipal authorities, offered innovative experiences such as the Ball Pit, the Mermaid Tent, which achieved 99% attendance, and the Terrace of Nations, in addition to sports, artistic, and cultural activities that strengthened family union.
One of the most notable spaces was the People’s Pavilion, which surpassed 23 million pesos in sales and brought together 420 local producers from sectors such as:

The festival closed with zero casualties, as a result of coordinated efforts by the Board of Trustees, Municipal Authorities, and State Civil Protection and Security agencies, ensuring safety and offering a quality experience to visitors and families.
With these results, the Vive Leon 2025 Summer Festival has established itself as an example of collaboration and organization that boosts the local economy, promotes cultural identity, and strengthens Guanajuato as a leading destination for tourism, recreation, and entertainment.
