The Secretary of Economy supports affected individuals in boosting their businesses

With an investment of more than 1 million pesos, support was provided to 25 families affected by flooding in the San Pedro de Ibarra community in Ocampo to reactivate their businesses.
The People’s Government, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, reaffirms its commitment to the community by supporting them in the recovery of their assets and the return to their activities to support their families.
The head of the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, toured the affected area and delivered furniture, equipment, and tools as an immediate and personal response to the adversity. “We do not forget those for whom we are here.”
From the beginning of the emergency, the Governor’s instructions were clear: listen to and assist the affected families, ensuring real support and real solutions.
Therefore, brigades from the Secretary of the New Beginning and of Ocampo visited each affected home and business, providing support and understanding firsthand the needs of those facing this situation.
The support delivered today that include, tools, equipment, and furniture, was designed to restore their patrimony and enable them to rebuild their daily lives in their homes.
This delivery represents the certainty that reconstruction will be closely watched and supported by the People’s Government.
This joint action reflects the values of the People’s Government: leaving no one behind. The community of San Pedro de Ibarra is fundamental to the municipality of Ocampo, Guanajuato, and its recovery is a priority for the current State Administration.
The People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, reiterates its call to residents not to lose hope nor faith in their ability to move on. The State Government will remain close and vigilant until tranquility, peacebuilding, and well-being return to every home.
