Finding the truck is the result of a search warrant executed after a theft was reported; more than 9,000 bottles and equipment used to evade satellite tracking were seized

As part of the actions aimed at protecting cargo transportation and the State’s production cycles, the Secretary of Security and Peace, in coordination with the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) of the State Attorney General’s Office and the Municipal Police of Dolores Hidalgo, located a tractor-trailer with high-end tequila, merchandise reported as stolen.
The operation began after a report of the theft of a white Kenworth tractor-trailer truck on Federal Highway 57 in the San Luis de la Paz section. As part of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a warehouse located on Jalisco Street, at the corner of Puebla Street, in the Downtown area of Dolores Hidalgo, where both the tractor-trailer and the merchandise were located.
At the site Authorities seized:
- 9,162 bottles of high-end tequila, distributed in
- 16 pallets containing 72 boxes each (6,912 bottles)
- Three pallets containing 104 boxes each (1,872 bottles)
- One incomplete pallet containing 63 boxes (378 bottles)
Based on preliminary estimates of the product’s commercial value, the recovered merchandise could exceed 22.9 million pesos. Four signal jammers, one damaged GPS unit, and one license plate with a current stolen report were also found. These items are commonly used to jam satellite tracking and facilitate criminal activities.
Everything seized was made available to the competent ministerial authority in Dolores Hidalgo for the corresponding investigations.
These actions are part of the State’s strategy to protect production cycles, which seeks to guarantee safe conditions for the legal transportation of goods, prevent economic losses, and strengthen the logistics chain.
The State Secretary of Security and Peace informed that it confirms its commitment to legality, surveillance of strategic routes, and the defense of honest work.
