The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, led the inauguration of the new industrial warehouse of the American Industries Inventory II project, a $17 million investment that represents development, well-being, and jobs for Guanajuatense families.

The Governor celebrated that investors continue to trust Guanajuato as a competitive destination, with legal certainty and a clear direction.

“This industrial facility we are inaugurating today represents employment, development, and well-being for our people. We are proud to know that you continue to trust in the strengths of Guanajuato. This new building is part of an investment plan that, since 2019, has already totaled $60 million in Leon,” said the Governor.
Libia also recognized the track record of American Industries, a Mexican company with nearly five decades of experience promoting the operation of foreign companies in Mexico.

“American Industries is an example of a vocation for service, a commitment to the community, and values that are passed down from generation to generation. That legacy, which began with the work of its founder, continues to drive opportunities for the people of Guanajuato today,” said the Governor.
Luis Lara Cruz, Co-President and Director of American Industries, said that the company under his leadership operates with equal opportunities, since in Guanajuato 60% of its workforce are women, and 4 of its 6 regional offices are led by women.

American Industries is a Mexican company founded in 1976, with nearly five decades of experience facilitating the establishment of more than 250 international companies in Mexico, offering premises, management, and industrial real estate solutions. With a presence in more than 15 industrial parks in five states, the company has developed more than 140 industrial buildings and generated a network that totals more than 20,000 jobs throughout the country.

The Governor emphasized that Guanajuato is now positioned as one of the best states for investment in Mexico. This is demonstrated by the 25 new investment projects that have arrived in the State during the first nine months of her administration, representing $2.402 billion and more than 7,000 jobs.

“Today, more than ever, what companies are looking for is certainty. And in Guanajuato, we are committed to providing that reliable investment environment. A facility like this is an example of how we continue to generate more and better opportunities for our people,” said Libia.
With this new investment, Guanajuato reaffirms its leadership as a competitive, investment-friendly State with a firm commitment to sustainable economic development.
Mayor of Leon Alejandra Gutierrez Campos; Secretary of Economy Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar; Secretary of Government Jorge Daniel Jimenez Lona and the Director of Puerto Interior Hector Lopez Santillana, among other Officials and directors of the company were in the inauguration ceremony.
