With the goal of strengthening the competitiveness of local businesses, the Ministry of Economy held the in-person seminar “Integrate your company into the commercial future of the USMCA,” aimed at more than 270 attendees from various industrial, commercial, and governmental sectors in the State.

Through the People’s Government’s Prosperity Hub, Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo is promoting actions to create conditions that allow local businesses to generate and retain jobs.

During the seminar, two presentations were given by Jeffrey Cartwright, President and CEO of Shoreview Management Advisors and founding partner of The Mexico Strategic Sourcing Alliance (MSSA), and Susana Bermudez, a sourcing and nearshoring specialist with more than seven years of experience providing strategic solutions to optimize supply chains and reduce production costs.

With these actions, Villasenor Aguilar asserted that strengthening Guanajuatense companies encourages consumption of their products and services and gives them visibility in the production chain and in the internationalization of their businesses.

The event included networking and speed dating sessions with experts, who advised 30 companies interested in strengthening their export capabilities under USMCA standards, including quality, price, and sufficient volume to sustain stable exports.
