APIMEX and COFOCE join forces and work together to support supply companies from Guanajuato to export their products
Both institutions adopt strategies to make it possible to take the suppliers to new markets in the world

The Association of Supplying Industrial Companies of Mexico –APIMEX- and COFOCE confirmed their commitment to join forces and promote the development of supply companies of Guanajuato, through a strategic Alliance with the goal to have more companies export their products abroad.
Working united
Through the webinar “Export your products with the support of COFOCE and APIMEX”, both groups announced the permanent program of exportation that will start with both organisms working united and whose main goal is that the companies that are affiliated to APIMEX find markets in other countries through assistance and close help of both institutions.
Of a total of 216 companies associated to APIMEX, today 31.9% export to countries in Central America, North America, Europe, Asia and South America. The products they export are: skin and leather; soles, heels and platforms; machinery and tools, chemical products, synthetics, textile and laminated metal, among other.
More exporters
It is expected that with this program at least 50% of the associates of APIMEX will become exporting companies, said Guillermo Romero Pacheco, the Executive President of APIMEX.
A faster recovery
Luis Ernesto Rojas Avila, the General Director of COFOCE, said in his turn at the webinar, that through this Alliance with APIMEX they will apply strategies to achieve a fast economic recovery of the industrial sector.
Today, the products from Guanajuato reach 130 countries, from arts and crafts to products for the aerospatiale sector.
All the support
COFOCE will work with APIMEX through services and support like: advertising abroad, consultancy abroad, attraction of buyers, delivery of samples, commercial missions, international trade intelligence, generation of trade opportunities, customizing of products to international markets, internationalization plans, among other.
Among the actions to be adopted also are the training offline and online to develop human capital, as well as the capital of companies, achieve added value to Guanajuatense products, this, with the help of the COFOCE Academy, where associates will work on topics of eLearning, international certifications and innovation.
Develop competitivenes
APIMEX and COFOCE will also work in the development of competitiveness of companies, training in topics of foreign trade (traditional export and e-commerce), branding (digital branding, smart packaging, online products, digital multisectorial catalogues, promo guidelines and brand mentoring) and digital markets (digital markets, e-commerce, marketplaces, digitalization of business, marketing B2B and branding).
