By August, Fondos Guanajuato exceeded $325 million in financing

In the first eight months of this year 2024, Fondos Guanajuato exceeded $325 million pesos in financing.

In round numbers, Fondos Guanajuato delivered a total of $325,989,857 pesos from January to August for a total of 1,452 loans, distributed in the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato, through the six branches established in:

• Leon, Celaya, Irapuato, Dolores Hidalgo, San Jose Iturbide and Moroleon

The program with the highest demand in the current fiscal year is Credito Menor, since more than $105,493,500 pesos have been delivered, representing 883 financings to improve the conditions of:

• Beauty salons, grocery stores, butcher shops, shoe stores, sportswear stores; clinics, fruit stores, mechanical and electrical workshops; among other

Another type of financing that exceeded $50 million pesos was the Credito Mayor, with a total of $58,642,297 pesos, which represented financial support to boost:

• Established businesses, purchase machinery and acquire or renew equipment

Regarding the Start-up Fund program, a total of 45 new business projects were supported from January to August, with a total investment amount of $10,764,226.82 pesos.

Regarding the new financing schemes, there is a total of:

• $8,358,342.24 pesos for “Renewal of the vehicle fleet”
• $32,100,000 for the “Boost to the Footwear Sector” program (mostly for merchants from the Rincon Municipalities)
• Sustainable Guanajuato (photovoltaic systems or solar panels) $14,952,594 pesos

Among the branches, the one in Leon has the highest amount generated with a total of $164,628,582.73 pesos, which is reflected in 450 loans granted in the localities of Leon, Silao, San Francisco del Rincon, Purisima del Rincon, Guanajuato, Ciudad Manuel Doblado and Romita.
