Security meeting for the electoral process

The contact between Municipal, State and Federal Authorities and the leaders of political parties is direct and constant

The Secretary of Government, the Secretary of Public Security of the State, the Secretary of National Defense and the National Guard, held a working meeting with the leaders in Guanajuato of the political parties PRI, PAN, PVEM, PRD, Citizens Movement and Morena.

In the XII Military Region, State and Federal Authorities reviewed with the representatives of the political parties the security actions that are applied in the electoral process.

These works are part of the agreements established on April 2 with political parties to ensure the security of the candidates with the support of Municipal, State and Federal Authorities.

The State and Federal Authorities reiterated that they will maintain direct contact with the leaders of the Political Parties, to respond to requests regarding security.

Representatives of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic, the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Guanajuato, the National Intelligence Center and the Technical Secretary of the Peace Roundtable also participated in the meeting.
