Religious centers, spas, bodies of water, shopping centers and mass events will have permanent surveillance throughout the State

More than 4,000 people, 900 units, 326 ambulances and 22 boats will be ready to provide assistance during Holy Week and Easter in the state of Guanajuato.

Members of the State Civil Protection Council approved the work plan for this religious and recreational tourism season, which includes 582 sites of mass gathering.

According to the agency, the municipalities where the highest concentration of visitors is projected are: Leon, Guanajuato, Irapuato and San Miguel de Allende.
Special operations will be carried out this season at five festivities:
- The Judea, in Purísima del Rincón
- The Via Crucis on the mountain of Cristo Rey, in Silao
- The Festivity of the Black Christ, in Salamanca
- The Festivity of the Lord of the Blue Eye, in Apaseo el Grande
- The Festivity of the Dance of the Horned, in Apaseo el Alto

The surveillance will be carried out by:
- The State Public Security Forces (FSPE) through the State Highway Police (PEC)
- In coordination with the Secretary of National Defense (Defensa)
- The National Guard
- Municipal Corps

Preventive patrols and a permanent presence will be present at:
- The 126 religious centers
- 63 public spaces
- 127 spas
- 123 bodies of wáter
- 49 sports facilities
- 17 ecotourism Parks
- 17 museums
- 123 identified shopping centers

This work, from March 26 to April 12, will also involve the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, the Green Angels, the State Emergency System and the Guanajuato Ministry of Health.
