Christmas in Purisima del Rincon lighted up on the night of Saturday dressed in white and blue and all other colors in a City that enjoys its traditions, and united welcomes Christmas 2023 and gets ready to celebrate the New Year 2024.
From December 9th to January 7th from 6:30pm to 11pm, citizens and visitors will be able to come and enjoy the Christmas scenery.
Roberto Garcia Urbano, Mayor of Purisima del Rincon with some 1,800 purisimenses and visitors gathered in downtown Purisima and members of the City Council were ready to take the photo as a souvenir of their participation in the event.
All were a central element of the opening of the Christmas Route that will decorate the City in the upcoming days, 14 locations in all are ready to celebrate the Christmas season.
The young participated in the ceremony as Mayor of Purisima del Rincon said that he hopes Purisimenses can celebrate “as a family, with friends, and be well and taking care of themselves, knowing they are responsible of their own well being and happiness as the end of 2023 comes is near after a year of challenges that has kept us united while moving ahead to a promising 2024”.
A singing choir dressed in red and white, sang for the public as they completed the scene with a brilliant white and blue tree and a train that was well accepted by visitors as the best decoration.
Students from the local House of Culture, sang joyful and wished peace to the world singing Christmas carols.
Some 1,800 people were in the event and wished a Merry Christmas 2023 and a great New Year 2024, and reminded that the elements are set to be enjoyed:
- The Nativity, villages, pinatas, train, star tunnel, lights, carrousel, spheres and the magic each visitor brings
