The Musical Winds Youth Symphony Orchestra, made up of the most outstanding students of this training program, will offer its last concert of the year this Saturday 9th, at the Juarez Theater, under the direction of Francisco Balboa.
“Guanajuato: I sing for you”, a title that paraphrases a song by María Grever, is the program to be presented in this presentation and covers the musical tradition of Guanajuato, with works by Antonio Zuniga, Juventino Rosas, Joaquin Pardave, Pedro Vargas and Jose Alfredo Jimenez.
The music that makes up this concert program is the result of three years of searching for the sound heritage of Guanajuato from various perspectives: intangible cultural heritage, prominent composers of the state, Guanajuato danzones, as well as collective compositions made by girls, boys, adolescents and young people. .
