Having in common the goal of promoting the development of young people from Guanajuato, JuventudEsGTO signed a collaboration agreement with the Bicentennial Polytechnic University (UPB).
“This represents your dreams and ours, our desires and your possible conquests; thanks to the support and programs that have been implemented, today there are many success stories to tell, today there are successful businessmen, professionals who finished their studies thanks to a scholarship, financing; today there are people succeeding in life and being successful thanks to the support that Guanajuato decided to give to its youth,” said Antonio Navarro, general director of JuventudEsGTO.
This commitment has the goal of working together to continue disseminating, among the university community, the activities, programs and calls launched by JuventudEsGTO for the benefit of the young people of Guanajuato.
As a result of this teamwork, 4,817 grants have been granted to the UPB educational community, among which 1,971 economic scholarships to promote access and permanence in school stand out; 812 computers delivered through the “Digital Inclusion” program; 132 supports for international mobility and 67 for stays abroad.
“With the signing of this agreement, more and more support will come for each and every one of you, young students of the UPB and I am sure that with actions like these, it is how we in Guanajuato work to be the Greatness of Mexico”, said Ma Isabel Tinoco Torres, Rector of the Polytechnic University of the Bicentennial.
After the protocol event, personnel of this unit offered the talk “Getting to know JuventudEsGTO” with the aim of giving UPB students a detailed knowledge of the activities, programs and benefits that they will be able to access.
