Fernando Alfredo Salazar Morales, a sixth-semester student at CECyTE San Diego de la Union, was ranked among the top three nationally at the CECYTEs 2023 Academic Festival, held last April in Acapulco, Guerrero.
In addition, given his outstanding performance as a student and desire to improve, he is a beneficiary of the support granted by the Regional Equity Program –PER- of the University of Guanajuato, in its 8th Generation, an institution where Fernando will begin his Major in Physics for the period August–December 2023.
“It is a pride of the CECyTE community and of our municipality; In addition to being part of the best competitors in the area of Experimental Sciences, this PER scholarship adds to Fernando’s achievements, which will cover his expenses 100%, financial support that is quite competitive among the student community”,said with pride Marco Julio Llamas, campus outreach coordinator.
Salazar Morales, the outstanding student was proud to have the opportunity to participate in such outstanding events for the community, meet more students nationwide and also learn from them, “I am excited and committed to having a better quality of life, by and for me and my family”.
When Salazar knew that he is a beneficiary of the PER scholarship in the voice of the CECyTE director, Benigno Perez Contreras; he said that he could not contain his satisfaction and joy, “without a doubt this great news was the best gift for my mother, in the month of Mothers.”
