Governor recognizes 12 thousand 258 students and graduates of CECyTE

In the celebration of the 30 years of the College of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Guanajuato (CECyTE Guanajuato), the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, recognized the institution as a source of evolution and great ally in the transition strategy from manufacturing to Mindfacture in education.

The Governor led the Graduation and Award Ceremony for Academic Excellence of students and graduates of the 2019-2022 Generation of CECyTE Guanajuato.

“Today more than ever let us support our youngsters so that they go on to be good citizens and they become responsible professionals and agents of social change”, said the Governor.

“I invite you to continue working together, society and government, to promote education, because education is the key that opens all the doors of development,” said Rodriguez Vallejo.

Yesterday 12 thousand 258 students who finished their High School studies received the document that certifies their academic level in a hybrid event.

Only 2,000 people were present, of which, 1,066 students received a distinction for their Academic Excellence; the rest received their document online.

The Governor described the graduates as winners, since they belong to a generation that made history: first for going over the Covid 19 pandemic and overcoming the challenges presented by distance education and adapting to this new teaching model.

But also for their excellent emotional intelligence when coming out of a historical confinement.

The Governor also recognized the work of parents, teachers, directors and administrators of the CECyTE Guanajuato, for their commitment to the education of the youth of Guanajuato.

“CECyTE is an institution that has known how to evolve, adapt and grow with Guanajuato; it is a great ally in our strategic objective of moving from manufacture to Mindfacture”, said the Governor.
