Guanajuato consolidates itself as the epicenter of electromobility with the award of the 4th Summit

The excitement overflowed at the awards ceremony of the 4th Electromobility Summit, a key event that has transformed Guanajuato into a national benchmark in technological innovation and which was held as part of the Hannover Messe: Industrial Transformation Mexico (ITM).
The Summit brought together young talents, academics and experts from the sector to highlight the advances in the design, production and use of electric and autonomous vehicles.
Throughout the competition, the best projects were awarded in the categories of scooters, bicycles, electric motorcycles and single-seaters, which demonstrate the potential of young Guanajuatenses.
Winners of the 4th Electromobility Summit:
Scooters:
- 1st Place: CONAWARRIOR Team from CONALEP Irapuato ($20,000)
- 2nd Place: SCOOTER SQUAD Team from the Dolores Hidalgo Bivalent Militarized High School ($10,000)
Bicycles:
- 1st Place: MANTTRONICS Team from CECYTE Irapuato ($20,000)
- 2nd Place: ECOFUTURO Team from the UVEG Telebachillerato of Celaya ($10,000)
Motorcycles:
- 1st Place: ECOBIKE ACE Team from the Instituto Tecnológico Superior del Sur (ITSUR) of Guanajuato ($50,000)
- 2nd Place: MOVITEC Team from the Celaya Technological Institute ($25,000)
Single-seater:
- 1st Place: ELECTROSABES Team from SABES University ($50,000)
- 2nd Place: E-UPG MOTORS Team from the Polytechnic University of Guanajuato ($25,000)
The Undersecretary of Secondary and Higher Education of Guanajuato, Adelmo Reyes Pablo, was emphatic in highlighting the importance of these events for the training of young people in key areas for the future of the industry.
“These meetings not only position Guanajuato as a leader in innovation, but also allow our students to develop skills that prepare them for a global labor market. We are consolidating ourselves as an epicenter of technological and educational development,” said Reyes Pablo during his speech.
In addition to the cash prizes, the event included news that further heightened the excitement: the winners of the single-seater category will have the opportunity to participate in a national championship at the Hermanos Rodriguez Racetrack in Mexico City, an event that will provide young people with a platform for national recognition.
Guanajuato continues to strengthen its leadership in promoting technological innovation, advanced education and economic development.
