Staff of the Tu Puedes Guanajuato Financial and Support Agency met with the Salamanca Business and Executive Association (AEES) to share the vision that growth is achieved through teamwork.
Ivon Padilla Hernandez, Director General of the agency, said that complete information on the nine financing programs the State Government has for entrepreneurs and the business sector was put on the table for discussion.
“We let them know that they have the full support of the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise, and that we will continue to support our merchants, our professionals, and our entrepreneurs, because we must remember that they create jobs and, in doing so, they benefit many families,” said Padilla.
The Director said the People’s Government’s goal is to narrow the financial exclusion gap, seek and find new or creative financial solutions to support the people of Guanajuato, and include them in this virtuous cycle of growth.
For the business sector, she explained that the financial institution offers the “Reach Your Dream” loan, which is aimed at groups that want to acquire equipment or infrastructure.
The loan has an amounts of up to 500,000 pesos and offers a 48-month payment term with a 14 percent interest rate on outstanding balances.
Padilla added that if the citizen makes payments on time, they will receive a 2 percent rate incentive for compliance. The rate is renewed with a 15 percent rate increase.
And the highest loan, called “Evoluciona,” reaches 3 million pesos and is aimed at micro, small, and medium-sized businesses that need to invest in renewing equipment, facilities, and other working capital.
“Evoluciona” offers a 60-month or 5-year payment term, a 12 percent interest rate, and a 2 percent interest rate incentive if paid on time.
Ivan Israel Casillas Albejar, President of the Salamanca Businessmen and Executives Association A.C. (AEES), said that these actions promoted by the People’s Government will substantially help and boost the business sector in this region of Guanajuato.
Casillas said that now it’s also the turn of the sector he represents to work to make Guanajuato do even better.
