Guanajuato promotes the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized companies in the fashion industry.
This was announced at the press conference to launch the first edition of the International Fashion Forum in Guanajuato, called “Trends & Desing Fashion Forum 2022”, organized by the Guanajuato Fashion Cluster, formed by APIMEX, CANAIVE, CICEG and CICUR , in coordination with the State Government, through the Secretary for Sustainable Economic Development –SDES-.
With this strategy promoted by the current administration of Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, the goal is to move from growth to development, promoting the companies that are part of the productive chain of this industry.
Froylan Salas Navarro, Undersecretary for the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of the Secretary for Sustainable Economic Development, representing the Secretary Ramon Alfaro Gomez, asaid that the activities that will be carried out are fundamental strategies to promote fashion and design as key elements for the competitiveness of the local economy.
“Trends & Desing Fashion Forum” has the objective of transferring high-value knowledge to the productive sectors that make up the Mexican fashion industry, allowing them to develop tools and strategies for MSMEs, businessmen, entrepreneurs and designers through the vast experience of national and international speakers and specialists.
This fashion forum will be part of the agenda of -Guanajuato, Inspiration you Wear-; “November Fashion Month” and the project “Fashion Industry, Making Business”, to promote Mexican fashion in the global context.
