Tourism sector of Leon is recognized for its results

These recognitions reflect the great commitment of the leaders of the sector, great allies in the economic activity of the State of Guanajuato

As part of the celebration of World Tourism Day in Leon, Maria Guadalupe Robles Leon, Secretary of Tourism and Identity, recognized the commitment, effort and service of members of the value chain of the tourism sector with more than 20, 25 and 30 years of work and business experience.

With Alejandra Gutierrez Campos, Mayor of Leon, and the tourism sector of Leon, the Secretary of Tourism attended the “Recognition Ceremony for the Tourism Career – Viva Leon”, which fulfilled the purpose of thanking the vocation of leaders, owners and collaborators of the industry.

More than 150 awards were presented at the Explora Science Center facilities; Guadalupe Robles thanked for these awards that reflect the great commitment of the leaders of the sector, great allies in the economic activity of Guanajuato.

“At the Secretary of Tourism and Identity -SECTURI- we recognize your commitment. Let us not forget that for this great value chain to work, we need the professionalization of each of its links,” said the Secretary of Tourism and Identity.

The Government of the State of Guanajuato, under the leadership of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, said “it will be the Government of the People, for which we have been instructed to guarantee respect, well-being and dignified treatment to all people. In this New Beginning we have a great opportunity to do things differently and better,” said Robles.

Guadalupe Robles Leon thanked President Alejandra Gutierrez and herteam for working hand in hand with SECTURI, in favor of the tourism sector, with a vision of the future to build a more prosperous and peaceful Guanajuato.

World Tourism Day is a celebration led by the World Tourism Organization, its purpose being to raise awareness in the international community about the social, cultural, political and economic value of tourism, this year, its motto is “Tourism and Peace”.
