The Gto Health System commemorated International Nursing Day 2023, recognizing more than 8 thousand professionals in this field of public health.
In the event held in Irapuato, the nursing areas of the General Hospitals of Uriangato, Silao, Materno San Luis de la Paz and San Jose Iturbide were recognized.
Also to nursing staff featured in the 2023 Clinical Care Knowledge Rally, in its second edition of the 8 Health Jurisdictions.
The State Secretary of Health, Dr. Daniel Diaz Martinez, emphasized the importance of nursing work not only for Guanajuatenses, but also for humanity.
The doctor pointed out the nursing staff as the –TLC- of the State Health Secretary, that is, “Talent, Leadership and Professional and Human Quality” alluding to the qualities that distinguish the Nursing staff of Guanajuato.
Diaz added that this is an important day in which they should be recognized for their dedication and professionalism.
Diaz recognized the work and exposure of nurses during the pandemic because it was a great effort and dedication that was carried out even risking their life.
Diaz strongly appreciated their work, which is not only recognized by government authorities but also by the families.
“You are a source of pride for Guanajuato, because your work is important not only for Guanajuato, but also for humankind,” said Diaz Martinez.
