The group of the Government of Guanajuato finished successfully their tour of Singapore, where experts from the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise -SCE- shared the strategies and programs that have contributed to development and growth of this country, considered one of the most important economic powers in the world.
With this exchange of knowledge, it is intended to generate economic, technological, environmental and public policy conditions and benefits, which contribute to improving the quality of life of Guanajuatenses.
With this rapprochement and cooperation, Guanajuato is consolidated as the entity that has the most collaboration from Singapore, a fact that was recognized by the Embassy of Mexico in that country.
Experts with extensive experience in the public service of Singapore, gave workshops and conferences for the Guanajuato delegation made up of Libya Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, Secretary of Government; Juan Carlos Alcántara, Chief of Staff; Jesús Oviedo Herrera, Secretary of Social and Human Development; Aldo Iván Márquez Becerra, Undersecretary of Operations for Human Development; and Alan Sahir Márquez Becerra, General Coordinator of Social Communication.
Also in attendance were Francisco de Jesús García León, Director of the Guanajuato State Water Commission; Lorena del Carmen Alfaro García, Municipal President of Irapuato; Francisco Javier Mendoza Márquez, Municipal President of Celaya; and Marina Alamilla Cruz, Deputy Head of Analysis and Strategic Monitoring.
“We are concluding this tour in Singapore, which is one of the most important economic powers, and the Guanajuato delegation have worked on issues and learned about their strategic planning, the sustainability with which they manage their resources, particularly in water issues, the innovation and education, with good practices that we will be taking to Guanajuato”, said the Secretary of Government.
The Embassy of Mexico organized a Meeting with Mexico-Singapore Chambers to continue the exchange of experiences at the business level; also the entourage from Guanajuato visited the City Gallery to admire the “Visualization of the holistic approach to development economics in Singapore.”
Guanajuato learns the best practices worldwide, with the collaboration of the Singapore Cooperation Company, which supports business development and the growth of other countries and states, standing out as a center for global trade and new companies.
